Changed up the "About Me" section slightly and added a few more things to the profile... (change is good). I wish I knew how to make this into a list! Most people underestimate me and judge me before actually getting to know me... So here are some things about me that you may or may not have thought about me. I smile all the time and I like to joke around. I am shy at times and other times not at all. There are only a few things that can embarrass me. I am very much positive about almost everything! I can find something good about ANY situation. The only thing I am afraid of are those big roaches! EWWW!!! I don't like for people to complain about the small things, take things for granted, or to be completely shallow. I love it when someone has huge dreams and won't let anything stand in the way of them making that dream a reality. Life is about experiences and it is okay to make mistakes as long as you learn from them. I support the troops 100%. Marines are better than any other branch. Of course I am biased as I am a United States Marine and so is my younger brother and some of my best friends. I was medically retired from the Marine Corps in 2006 because of chemical or toxin exposure that attacked my Autonomic Nervous System while I was blowing up ammunition at MOS school in 2004. I am a girly tomboy. You can find me out in the woods or fishing wearing my mascara and a skirt. I am always wearing my mascara! Yes, I have piercings... and yes, I have tattoos and want more. At this time I am learning how to belly dance and it is actually a lot of fun and a great ab workout. I love abs! If I could be any where right now, I would be at Parris Island as a Drill Instructor having re-enlisted and I would be a Sgt right now. Absolutely everything happens for a reason and every single day is another day to be thankful for! If you are going through a tough time, sit back and look at what you can learn from it! I faint. There is nothing anyone can do about it so just let me get it over with. I promise I will feel better after I wake up. Just give me some time to re-adjust. I will never give up because I know that God is helping me all the time! I know that I look perfectly healthy and I know that I act as if I am perfectly healthy (no matter how much pain I am in) but I do have dysautonomia. I will tell you that I am just fine and as those words are coming out of my mouth I will collapse. Then I wake up with a huge smile on my face! It has now been 4 years now that I have been living with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) and Neurocardiogenic Syncope (NCS) along with all the other "fun" symptoms and conditions they bring. I act tough because I am tough. Get over it. I will keep on trying. :) I am single because I want to be. I know that God is working with the guy I am supposed to be with and me right now, making us who we need to be for each other. Random thoughts: Love is to be felt and not defined. If it is worth doing, it is worth doing right. If it is worth having, it is worth working for. If I could have any super hero power it would be the ability to fly. I do not measure ones success by the fancy things they can buy... I think of success like this: If I am happy, I am successful. I am pretty confident in my ability to adapt and over come to any situation.

You Scored as Marines
Semper Fi. You are a true Marine. You are the nation's most devastating fighting force, barring Special Forces. But your place was not easy to get. You endured the harshest basic training of any Armed Force to get where you are, and your reward is the respect and admiration of everyone else (except maybe the Air Force, who may view you as just a dumb grunt. Perhaps it's true, but you just want to fight).
