Bass Kontrass was formed in the end of 2004 by Sesiz and Kraff. Both know each other since day one, when the electronic scene in Warsaw was born. Sesiz is a DJ since the begining of the 90's as well as a promoter of the local popular events called Drum-o-Phobia. Kraff besides being a DJ has been doing a lot of promotional job for d'n'b as a journalist of many different magazines and newspapers. The meeting of Sesiz & Kraff in Luztro club, after a long break, resulted in creating the Bass Kontrass organization. For a launch party @ Luztro in February 2005 they invited Utah Jazz (Liquid V /London). As a result of very positive feedback in the next months they organized a number of parties with all the A-list d'n'b topstars as: Marcus Intalex (Soul:R), Cyantific (Hospital), Lightwood (Santorin), D.Bridge (Exit), Tony Colman aka. London Elektricity (Hospital) + Logistics (Hospital) - both appeared within "10 Years Hospital Tour", Blame (720 Degrees), Storm (Metalheadz), Doc.Scott (31 Records, Tomahawk (Hospital Records). The one who added splendour to the10-th anniversary session was the "godfather of d'n'b" known as the mighty Grooverider. The 2-nd Birthday
of Bass Kontrass presents John B (Beta Recordings).A large scale and positive performance in media has made the Bass Kontrass organization a strong player in a drum'n'bass league. Since October 2005 the cru has been strengthen by the third member - TM DAG. Currently it is supported by another 2 new persons: DJ: Ant and VJ Sosnish. The recent Bass Kontrass session in september 14-th 2007 presented LTJ Bukem + MC Conrad(Good Looking /UK). The next big drum and bass events are coming soon. Be aware!
