Mister Justice

Yipes. Being a "real life super hero" (or ReLiSH) is hard work and at the end of the day it's hard not to be disallusioned. The world is not nearly as black and white as I was taught. Infact I was taught alot of things over the last twenty five years that totally contradict what I've learned in my time as a ReLiSH. It's hard to believe in the majority of moral codes in existance when you realize the people who have been developing and following them for centuries are also capable of terrible atrocities. It's hard to point the finger at poor desperate criminals when you know the source of their desperation is apathetic rich criminals.
Here is a list of I still believe in
-Question everything.. even your Grandma.
-I Believe in the universe. It exists. It's big. It's probably moving forward, starting with a long chain reaction that is playing itself out. With that in mind, I don't things happen for any "moral" reason, they happen as a consiquence of earlier actions and they continue to add to a large pile of consequences.
- If you could witness everything in the universe, in the past present and future, you might be a god, but at that point I don't think you'ld be able to make any moral judgements on anything.
-An educated person has the right to take anything into or out of their body, when they understand the consequences of that action. This contradicts many "laws" and "moral codes" through out the world, such as drugs, abortion, sodomy, suicide...
-Time travel is confusing.
-Reducing and Re-Using are amazing principles, but not recycling cause as far as I understand that really just creates more pollution.
-You are not Jesus, don't be a martyr and don't develop a savior complex, just be true to yourself and effect people positively on a small managable scale.
-Humour.
-Information is good, but brainwashing bad.. I'm still not sure where I sit with this polorization.
-You have a body and a mind, respect both.
-Controversial Art sould still recieve funding. War should have it's funding cut compleatly.
-Never commit to a single moral code, allow it to grow and change over time, but review it to make sure it's doesn't boil down to you being a vain, egotist who's pursuit of power comes before anything else including human rights and hmm... yeah, I currently commited to that.
This List will continue to evolve, as I continue to think about my beliefs. Feel free to post comments about your thoughts. I'm trying to learn as much as I can.
