Bij starts spinning records in 1986 at the age of 14 playing Pop, Disco, High-Energy and New Wave. In 1989 he discovers House music with electronic pioneers Marshal Jefferson, Lil’Louis and Laurent Garnier. From then on he plays House, Acid-House and Techno. In 1992 he visits the Baltic States for the first time. 1994, he settles in Vilnius for a while and becomes the organizer of Cosmix: Lithuania’s very first weekly Techno parties. From that time starts a long migration, vinyl case in hands.1996 bij is production assistant in a recording studio (Paris) where he works with Roger Waters (Pink Floyd), 93 NTM or Bertrand Burgalat (king of french pop). 1998 he's resident at Batofar (Paris, Cinefeel parties) while in 1999 he is leading the crazy lifestyle of snowboarding, playing for main extreme-sports events as the official Playstation Air Games dj.Late 2000 he moves back to Vilnius where he runs the bar-club Tasty, and today he distributes prestigious audio brands (Rane, Rodec, L-Acoustics, Funktion-One) on the Lithuanian ground and within Stage Technical Service, trying to share his quest for the perfect sound :)When deejaying, Bij knows how to rock a crowd while exploring musical boundaries. He easily plays a genre-crossing set, always warm and exciting.France, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, England, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Russia, Belarus heard him spinning, sharing decks with Kenny Hawkes, Colin Dale, Kevin Yost, Zak Frost, Joakim, Scratch Massive, Maurice Fulton, Mitte Karaoke, D'Julz...

Sounds Like: In the beginning, there was Jack, and Jack had a groove. And from this groove came the groove of all grooves. And while one day viciously throwing down on his box, Jack boldy declared, "Let there be HOUSE!" and house music was born. "I am, you see, I am the creator, and this is my house! And, in my house there is ONLY house music. But, I am not so selfish because once you enter my house it then becomes OUR house and OUR house music!" And, you see, no one man owns house because house music is a universal language, spoken and understood by all. You see, house is a feeling that no one can understand really unless you're deep into the vibe of house. House is an uncontrollable desire to jack your body. And, as I told you before, this is our house and our house music. And in every house, you understand, there is a keeper. And, in this house, the keeper is Jack. Now some of you who might wonder, "Who is Jack, and what is it that Jack does?" Jack is the one who gives you the power to jack your body! Jack is the one who gives you the power to do the snake. Jack is the one who gives you the key to the wiggly worm. Jack is the one who learns you how to walk your body. Jack is the one that can bring nations and nations of all Jackers together under one house. You may be black, you may be white; you may be Jew or Gentile. It don't make a difference in OUR House. And this is fresh.
