It all started when max and vince met up after the taste of chaos tour back in 2006. They shared the same passion about music and wanted to form a band together. After trying out several bands and going through many auditions they met Djou who was playing drums in in situ at the cité 2000 in montreal. They started to compose songs and building something heavy but founding member vince had to move out of the city for school opportunities. Here we stand made their first show at Café l'inco in Montréal with friends End Of Crisis to announce that vince was leaving the band. Going through various member changes and not finding anyone to fill the vancant positions the old fashioned way the band parted ways and Max Filled the spot as vocalist in In Situ (R.I.P).A year Later, Vince moved back to montreal In order to start Here We Stand again. HWS started all new songs and riffs as a four piece band in Winter of 2008. Two months later the band decided to part ways with former guitar player Math. They continued to write songs as a three piece band. Afterwards, there was a spot left for a second guitar player and Pat introduced us to Eric who is now the second guitarist of the band.
