À la suite de la séparation de khepera(skacore) à l'automne 2006, les membres restants du groupe ont décidé de former un nouveau groupe avec deux nouveaux guitaristes. S'inspirant autant du punk (lagwagon, rise against, etc.) et du hardcore (raised fist, propagandhi, sick of it all, agnostic front...) des années 90 que du hardcore newschool(unearth, august burns red, comeback kid) Dow Jones Crash espère faire bouger les foules lors de ses concerts. 2step, riff punk ultra rapide, breakdown, solo de guitare mélodieux et recherchés... voila se qui inspire Dow Jones Crash! Coté paroles, ils écrivent des textes politiquement et socialement engagés, mais pas enfermé dans une doctrine propagandiste puéril et convenue. Penser et dire c'est résister! ******************************************************
After the break up of Khepera (skacore), fall 2006, the remaining band members decided to make a new band with 2 new guitar players. Inspired by Punk (lagwagon, rise against...) as well as 90's hardcore (raised fist, propagandhi, sick of it all, agnostic front...) and newschool hardcore (unearth, august burns red, comeback kid), Dow Jones Crash hopes to make people move and dance at their concerts. 2 steps, ultra fast punk riffs, breakdowns, melodic guitar solos... That's what inspires Dow Jones Crash. On the subject of lyrics, they write politically and socially engaged songs, but not stuck in a propagandist doctrine. Thinking and talking is a way to stand up!
