Golf, beer tasting (make of that what you will!!), playstation, chilling, reading, Austria/Germany, New Zealand, travel and diving with sharks. Music...(ESPECIALLY MUSIC!!) Old skool soul/funk pirate stations (JFM, Horizon Radio, LWR), Old skool house music stations (Joy FM, Sunrise, Centreforce, Energy FM etc), New skool dance pirate stations, skiing, travelling, socializing, friends & I really enjoy cooking.
The kind of people I would like to meet are like minded genuine, sincere people. People that I can relate with and people who can relate to me. I'm also looking for people who may also be looking for traveling companions. But most importantly, I'm looking for great, fun people who I can have laugh with and who dosen't take life too seriously. It is also important that you like music (any genre) does me. I want to meet all you nice people out there!
Where do I start. Well, lets begin by saying that I appreciate all types of music, eveything from Hendrix, The Who, Beatles to the current sounds. My main bag is Funk, 60', 70's & 80's Soul, Northern Soul, Motown, Electro, Jazz-Funk, P-Funk, Blaxploitation Soundtracks (Coffy, Foxy Brown, Truck Turner, Shaft, Superfly etc, etc) Rare Groove, Jazz (my favourite of all music), Reggae, Lovers Rock, Dub, Ska, Rocksteady, House, Old Skool ('86-'90), Acid House, Funky House, Deep House, Garage (UK & US), Techno, Detroit Techno, Electro, Drum & Bass, Jungle, R&B, Hip Hop, Rap, Breakbeat, Trip Hop, Ambient, and the list goes on & on in the dance music department! My ultimte musical hero has to be Roy Ayers. I also love all the 80's pop and like all the electro pop of that time such as New Order, Depeche Mode, Human League, Kraftwerk etc. By all accounts, I'm a purist, a real vinyl junkie!
Clint Eastwood films especially the spaggetti western trilogy Fist Full Of Dollars, For A Few Dollars More & Good, Bad & The Ugly. Goodfellas (Joe Peci's finest acting moment!), Casino, The Godfather trilogy, Trainspotting, Lockstock, Love Honour & Obey, and many, many others.
I like docu's, current affairs, the odd soap, sport and anything especially to do with wildlife & natural history. Top Gear, sport,& anything else thats worth paying the TV license fee! I also love alot of comedy such as the Catherine Tate Show but my favorite is Only Fool's & Horses.
Haven't read one for a while but I enjoy autobiographies, history, sport and most things factual.
Roy Ayers, James Brown, Bob Marley, Ray Winstone, Clint Eastwood, David Jason, Jodie Foster, Too many DJ's to mention, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye,James Brown and all his stable of funky people and all my other musical hero's of which there are too many to mention. Last but not least, everyone who has made a difference in this world for the better.
