Jaskirat Singh aka 'j-sKy' developed a music interest at a very young age- a keen dancer and singer, he was often seen performing at various Indian functions and parties. Possessing a vast knowledge in hip hop and bhangra music he pursued his interest to the next level and took up a position as a radio announcer in the year 2003 at "Groove 101.7FM", the most popular youth radio station in Australia.
After working many graveyard shifts, j-sky developed a great reputation at the radio station and developed into a primetime presenter, becoming the chief interviewer for a great deal of celebrities on tour in Australia.
j-sKy also took interest in the art of Djing and Production, and over the years has become one of the most popular and sought after Indian/Dance/Hip Hop Djs in Australia, performing at the biggest nightclubs in Australia at many large scale events and festivals comprising of crowds of over 5 thousand people! While also being the support artist for major acts such as Ministry of Sound, Jay Sean, Juggy D, Rishi Rich, Bally Sagoo, Tigerstyle, RDB, Bhangra Nights and many more...
j-sKy has undertaken professional MC/Voice courses over the past few years to work on his vocals giving him the aptitude to project and express his voice to perfect his ability to MC and rap. He has used his knowledge in music and voice in production aspects releasing a great deal of fusion hip hop tracks with the assistance of modern RnB and traditional Indian singers with vast singing experience, under the group name J-2. j-sKy also released his own record label in the year 2007 under the name of Jupiter Entertainment which has had overwhelming interest and following since its initiation.
j-sKy is one of Australia's most sought after party assets, well known for his ability to pump any party off the hinges- not only for his dj/mcing ability but also for his fierce stage presence! j-sKy is on his way to being a household name in the very near future...
