Whatever your role as an artist is, it is important to get your music heard by the people who have money and resources to push your work to a larger market. You need to get your work heard by the very people who sign major stars and spend endless amounts of money marketing and promoting them. If you have tried to do this, you will know that it is near impossible.
Redland Entertainment can speak from experience as it is a record label with artists on its roster.
The way record labels see it is - the daily cost of listening to (literally) hundreds of records, is far more than the chance of finding a hit - if that even exists in the pile. Therefore most record labels will not listen to material that has been sent to them, and if you were to even get a rejection letter, that would be more than you could expect. If you were to send your material to a record label it would be considered 'unsolicited' and most likely thrown in the bin.
This is frustrating because you know your music is fantastic, everyone who has heard your music thinks it is fantastic, you are sure the record label would think your music is fantastic - but they wont even give it a listen.

How do you get round this?

Record labels only want to speak to other record labels, managers, solicitors and other industry professionals. If you were to submit your work to Redland Entertainment, and it sent it to a label, it would be much more successful than if you sent it yourself - generally you wont get any response.
Record labels know that companies such as ours are not going to send poor or even average material. They know that Redland Entertainment needs to send only the best material to not loose its reputation. That's why anything a Ltd company sends is more likely to be listened to, responded to and acted on.

We become the middle man, in order to get your music heard

If your music is considered of a high enough standard we will forward your music to a record label matching your genre of music. We may even forward your music to a major label if it is considered 'sellable' enough. You will also receive airtime on the music agency's Myspace page and on the media player on the main web site.
If you music is not considered of a high enough standard we will write you a detailed report of why not, and what could be done to better it. This report is not based on personal opinion, it is based on music factors that make up 'a good song'.
So whether or not your music is successfully forwarded to a record label you can't loose - you either have your music forwarded - or you receive a report that could change and better your music forever.

We will be searching a number of things within your music to see if it is appropriate to forward:

2.) The length of the songs;
3.) How well you are able to play together (if you are in a band);
4.) How different parts of the song work together;
4.) Your musical ability;
5.) Catchy / memorable lines (if our team go away singing your music - that’s a good sign!).
