Born into the musical world in late 2006, First Stand is relentless in taking the everyday approach to music, and bringing it to new heights. Today’s music brings a lot to the table, and First Stand is capable of holding their own so-to-speak. With immense musical background and a unique sense of style, the band continues to create tracks that feature a great hook, magnificent attention to detail, and a sound that pretty much speaks for itself.
First Stand is a trio from the bay area in California consisting of Adam Smith (Vocals and Guitars) Justin Esposo (Drums and Percussion) and Trevor Butler (Bass, Vocals, Synth.) Although the band is in its infancy, the music industry is no stranger to the boys in First Stand. Adam and Justin have been in bands since their early childhood, mostly together, and Trevor has participated in such bands as The Way Molly Likes It and Hollow Sanctity.
First Stand is determined to make a career out of doing what they love. If there is one great characteristic about the band, it’s that they have the ability to overcome just about any obstacle that is thrown in their path and remain determined in achieving what they desire.
