Twenty year old Cleveland, Ohio native “Yung Chris aka Fly Boi†is the perfect mixture of east coast word-play, mid-west swagger and down-south bounce. This is due to his diverse influences ranging from Jay-z to Big Tuck. Born Christopher Swails on June 5, 1987, his main objective is to make a name for himself in his hometown of Cleveland as well as Hampton, Virginia were he now resides as a student. Fly Boi looks to release a new mix-tape this fall entitled “Im The Dj He’s The Rapperâ€, alongside Dj Tay James who has made a name for himself in the Hampton Roads area. If you are a fan of feel good music with a “Cadillac appeal†then you will definitely enjoy the sounds that Fly Boi provides.
Fly Boi is no stranger to extensive recording; in the fall of 2006 he released his first album entitled “The Dime Piece.†The album was sold on the Hampton University campus were he attends school. The album featured sounds from Dark Shadow entertainment; an Oakland based production team. The final result was a smooth clean cut finish that got him established as dominant figure on campus.
