MC Jakes has been part of the drum&bass scene since its inception but continues to re-invent himself, now MC-ing over everything from breaks to dub-step and of course drum&bass. The last 12 months has been his biggest to date having provided the lyrics for this year’s Best Single (Xtra Bass Awards / National DnB Awards) ‘Deep’ and supporting Pendulum on their home-coming live tour which culminated in performing to 10,000 people in Perth on New Year’s Eve. Aside from touring all over the world, with various acts Jakes is also the proud founder of Dubstep’s leading collective H.E.N.C.H.
