I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I am a 27 year old young man, living in Irving Texas. I am single and as of this time, have no kids. I work for my family buisness, which I am very proud of called "Porter's Army Navy and Pawn". So pretty much I deal in weapons, gold and work with the military as much as possible. I have grown to like it, though I did not used to. I consider myself to be and hard working and honest person. I have my days though.... I am blessed to have so many friends that have stuck with me through the years and I will return the favor much as I possible can. I have a lot of love for life and those who love me. There's been times when that wasn't soo true. I also play drums in a band called "kentucky fried texas", but that's a whole other page. Most of my time is spent either in the pawn shop or in the studio or on stage (where I'm the happiest). I wish there was more time, but who doesn't. I am easy to get along with and try to help when ever I can, though the clock seems to laugh at me sometimes. I also write alot of lyrics. Maybe I'll start posting them. Anyhow, that's me. Love me or hate me ... you just get what you get. Hopefully that is worth while.

My Interests

Music, Drums, Cars (mostly systems), building custom asault weapons (I know it sounds bad) and meeting people.

I'd like to meet:

People who aren't totally negative and can see some color in life. People who know black isn't the only color there is. And especially people who aren't totally selfish....there's more of them than you may think. But I'm always open to anyone who is willing to just say hi.

Music:

I like any kind of music that is well writen. I'm mostly into rock: alternative, metal, new-metal, old school ... whatever. Favorites are Sublime, Metallica, System of a Down, Incubus, Lincoln Park, Bizkit, Korn, chevelle, Sether, Saliva, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, ect. Being in a band myself, I listen to alot of local/regional music who never get enough credit: Burden Brothers, Down Lo, Fair to Midland, Vallejo, Mad Mexicans, Pistol Whippin Ike, A Dozen Furies, Haji', ect... Seriously some of the best music was produced in someone's garage. I give credit to anyone who puts their heart into doing what they love; local / regional / national / international.

Movies:

.

Television:

South Park... always my favorite. MTV, when it's not pop-rock-athon (which would mean I can watch it like once a month). the sunday stew is pretty good, though. Well, just about anything that makes me laugh or has some purpose.

Books:

I have little time to read, but if anyone has some suggestions let me know, maybe I'll read it.

Heroes:

Bradley Nowell from Sublime. pure genious
