I, like many of us, love to write and talk (sometimes at the same time which makes it hard for my listeners ;-) and the rest of the time it depends on the day and where and who I am with....
What I'm looking for in a partner is someone who knows who they are but willing to continue to learn and grow and wanting to share their life with someone, whilst both remaing individuals. I would like a man who is openly affectionate and not scared to show his emotions. I like to laugh, so a sense of humour is a must and trust & truthfulness must be on the top of their "To Do List." How we have faced our relationships in the past hasn't really worked, so I want someone who wants to try things differently so that we come together in a more harmonious manner, learning to enjoy each other. I have a lot to give and I'm looking for that person to give it to. I can nag, (but it's actually not nagging, your just not listening which makes it sound like nagging Hee! Hee!) I am open to compromise though. Last but not least we must be friends. As far as people I would like to meet, there is of course the Dali Lama, Mother Teresa...I could go on about all these type of people, i think we would all miss out on something by not meeting them...but then there is the average person (like you and me) that has as much to teach in so many other ways, because we all have our 'own' special qualities...I would also like to meet Hitler and ask him Why? Did you know he was an animal lover! His German Shepherds apparently had the run of the place, and near the end of his life, one of his secretaries found him in the hallway cuddling one of his dogs and crying....(heard that from his secretary during a TV interview...
I'm the only radio announcer I know who doesn't know who sings what, if it feels good I play it, mostly laid back style, cruisy, blues, celtic music etc.
Movies: "City of Angels" is my favourite, anything with a message, good comedy, true life stories, no violent types. I'm a trekkie so any science fiction does it for me
Hmm! T.V. Star Trek and similar genre....Ghost Whisperer..Aussie Idol (love to see them grow)Nip Tuck Supernatural, two and half men, The king of Queens, Men in Trees, Nature shows...
Music: I'm the only radio announcer I know who doesn't know who sings what, if it feels good I play it, mostly laid back style, cruisy, blues, celtic music etc. "Celestine prophecy" is my bible, true stories, spiritual books or just good old stories that have a message. Usually have 2 to 3 books on the go.
Not big on people having Heroes, but I am big on people appreciating what others do...We are all as good as each other, we need to find the Hero inside oursleves...we all have the ability to be "The Dala Lama" "Mother Teresa" etc...its all within each and everyone of us...In having said that....we can also be "Hitler" ;-)
