Rivers of Blood

They will pay...with rivers of blood!

About Me

Hailing from Dunfermline, Scotland. Rivers of Blood is an experimental solo project.
As far as I am concerned styles and genres of music are not hard and fast and there are inevitably artists that fall in between categories. That's what I'm trying to achieve. I tend to like the extreme end of most genres and I believe that a lot of musical styles share the same energy.
Having played in various "traditional" guitar bands over the years, I thought it would be fun to do something different. I haven't spent a lot of money on fancy equipment, instead I have an electric guitar, a couple of very cheap old Casio keyboards and a handful of noise-making toys, a Commodore 64 computer and a laptop. Circuit bending also features pretty heavily in my collection of instruments. I'm not saying that this is groundbreaking, but hopefully you will like it.
I aspire to fame and fortune like most other part-time musicians, so of course I am interested to hear from promoters or labels, but for the moment, it's still a hobby.
This is still very much a work in progress and is constantly evolving, but I hope to be taking it out on the road as soon as I can. Thanks for your support, remember to rate my tunes and leave plenty of feedback.

"Decapitator" finally finished!

I thought is was time to finish this song, for a while I've only had a cut-down instrumental version. It was always going to be a homage to the film "Shogun Assassin" and the lyrics are quotes from Da...
