Mikael Berglund

I'm a swedish bassplayer/composer somewhere in my 40's. Started off playing drums at an early age, added piano at 9 and at 17 I picked up the bass and decided this felt like the instrument for me. Went to B.I.T in Los Angeles (M.I) in 1980 and have since then been doing all I can to keep on playing. I have been lucky enough to tour all over the world and had the chance to meet a lot of musicians and other interesting people. This is for me the one of the most rewarding things with playing music... and of course that special feeling that happens sometimes when everything comes toghether and flows effortless, naturally. Nowadays there's always music and sounds going on everywhere so I try to listen to the silence when I can find it. Got to keep a fresh attitude and try to remember why I started listening and playing in the first place.
