Chris Miskel - Drummer

About Me

Chris Miskel began playing drums in church at a very young age. Though not formally trained, he is the epitome of what one would consider a “drummer extraordinaire.” Being a Chi-town native he too falls into the exclusive group of the city’s great musical heritage along side others such as Khari Parker and Oscar Seaton which Chris considers not only mentors, but friends. In fact, he has been quoted stating, “I have a special place in my heart for those guys that helped me along the way, and that stick with me now.” Included in this small circle of friends that Miskel pays homage are drummers Dave Weckl, Dennis Chambers, and Vinnie Colaiuta, whom he not only admires, but labels his “favorites.”
If you would like to see Chris perform, you can catch him on tour with the likes of Brian Culbertson, Nick Colionne and Bobby Caldwell. When he is not touring and at home, you can find him performing in church.
