TRASHER

Trasher is the result of 4 kids thrashing. What started out as two kids jamming, quickly became 3 kids writing songs. With Matt and Jaron already coming up with guitar riffs and searching for a drummer, we stumbled upon the young powerhouse John Norcross, who was originally known as a guitar player, but little did anyone know, he destroyed the drums as well. After a few jams, and the addition of second guitarist Ethan Ballick. As things began to roll, we saw the departure of Matt, as he went on to play guitar for She The Murderess (local metal/hardcore). Back to being a three peice, we wrote a handfull of songs and added second guitarist Keith Krupinski to the band. Still singer-less we did a few instrumental shows and devoted most of our time auditioning vocalists. After a few interesting but failed candidates, we decided to bring Matt back into the line up as a singer. As soon as lyrics were writen and the songs were tight, Trasher, who were at the time known as Trash went to record with good friend Brian Davis. The seven song "Death By Demo" was done in January and as February followed, so did our debut as our five peice line up. As time went on and live performances came and past, we saw the departure of Keith. He was off to college as a full time student. In came Courntey Cox with a new attitude, picking up right where we left off. After an extremely short stint with the new line up (2 shows and a recording of "Inverting The Cross" for the Metal War Productions Compilation), Trasher split ways with Courtney due to scheduling and conflict of intrest. Picking up where we left off with Courtney, we chose to remain a 4 piece. We began to rehearse alot more and play shows alot more often, in preparation for the recording of our second demo "Inverting The Cross" featuring the Metal War Compilation track and 4 new songs. In the 07/08 Winter we hit the road with Sacrifical Blood for a 16 date tour in the south. After extrme success on the road and the release of a split 7" with Sacrificial Blood released on Rusty Axe Records, Trasher plans to bring in the new year with loads of shows and new releases and merch.
