Chilly-O from the ATLby Sean @ Groove Effect, San Francisco
Came across Chilly-O out of Atlanta and I'm loving everything they got - great color, designs, and attitude. It doesn't hurt that they're into BMX, an old passion of mine, but even if that weren't the case they got some fresh threads and a dope philosophy. Launched in 2004, they've been at this a while and frankly I'm surprised I hadn't heard of them sooner. Keep an eye out for them.Named after its founder and chief designer, Chilly-O has become a fashion forward street wear clothing line, which has caught the attention of Atlanta's taste-making elite. In less than a year's time, the brand made a solid impact on a community known for its avant-garde attitudes about art, fashion, and music. Created as a legal hustle by two individuals who had witnessed the negative side of street culture, Chilly-O Clothing represents the grind and reflects the integrity and creativity needed to survive in the concrete jungle. Chilly-O Street wear combines interactive designs and bold concepts of quality and creativity to bring forth clothing that helps support the fashion statements of the line's consumers. Chilly-O strives to be an iconic and premier global fashion line that influences a selective, fashionably aware audience to stand out, be noticed and create the status quo. With over two decades of experience as both entertainers and entrepreneurs Alvin and Calvin Waters have collectively and unquestionably made a remarkable imprint in the music industry. They continue to do the same with the official inauguration of THE MACHINE.The Machine Group, Inc. is a multifaceted entertainment conglomerate that encompasses a production company and burgeoning record label. Founded in 1999, the Atlanta based company has garnered a solid reputation synonymous with tenacity, integrity, loyalty and consistency. Their midas touch has already reached the likes of Uptown 3000, the explosive Korean rap group that’s sold over 6 million records internationally by securing a production deal through Comb’s Bad Boy Records (Warner). THE MACHINE has raised the bar in the realm of progressive music. The corporation’s services include recruiting, producing and consulting talent in addition to acquiring joint label ventures. As a unified force and one stop operation for the musically inclined, one could surely understand why this company is branded as THE MACHINE.media contact: [email protected]éalité Public Relations is a boutique firm that caters to all aspects of the entertainment, film, music and lifestyle industries. We offer a vast array of Public Relations services and pride ourselves on steering away from average cookie cutter business practices. We're known for pushing the envelope, breaking glass ceilings and putting you in front of the eyes and ears that matter most.Besides generating plenty of good ink, RPR prides itself in being the bridge between vision and reality. We provide the strategic public relations approach needed to connect businesses with prospects and entertainment professionals with fans and key stake holders. We’ve put together a stellar network of talented and experienced individuals that have long mastered their craft in their respective fields. When speaking on the Réalité movement the company's President and Creative Director explains that, “Our world is home to many different people from many different backgrounds that see the truth based on what they perceive to be real. What’s real to you may not be real to the next person, and what applies to you may not necessarily apply to or serve any purpose to them. The trick to it all is knowing how to construct or personally ‘tailor’ one’s reality so it is seen as truth through their lenses. Our main focus is to brand you and/or your organization by crafting a reality that compels your target audience(s) to react in your favor. This is the foundation of our company and the approach we take with each and every client.â€Whether it’s getting noticed or facilitating mutual adaptation between an organization and its public, RPR remains true to the bottom line while keeping the big picture in mind. The keen ability to marry sound business ethics with creative abstract thinking is what sets RPR and its clients steps ahead of the game. With an engrained passion for music, fashion, communication and the arts, the Réalité team thrives on creating innovative concepts that compel writers, editors and critics to open a package, read a press release or listen to a CD. There are no rules here, only the demonstration of etiquette, style, integrity and accountability. For this reason we are not afraid to think outside of the box by approaching each project with a unique angle that sparks results. Capitalizing on the assets of each client is a necessity in this business. At the end of the day it’s all about being seen, getting heard and generating real tangible results."The power is in the placement.
