Okay, the elephants are running, stomping, pounding heavy feet, all in the same fucking direction, and you are hiding in a bush watching them. Their trunks are swinging wildly and their ivory tusks are fucking white and huge and menacing. Hundreds of elephants stampeding and you can feel the earth moving. You can feel the vibrations through the soles of your shoes and your are shaking in them cuz you feel their raw power and you sware if they see you they're gonna change direction and come stomp your head in like a watermelon. Then you catch one of their eyes, animal eyes moving quickly, and you see in her eyes an urgency. Not an aggression. An urgency. An urgency that does not threaten you at all. So you stand up and watch them move. You feel their power now for what it is: not something to be feared, but something to be admired and appreciated. As you relax your clenched fists and savor this moment, this beautiful fucking movement, you exhale, and a poacher's bullet shoots through your back and pierces your beating heart......it isnt the elephants you should be worried about....
