I'd like to meet:
The muse; He who inspires.I have a huge Charlie Kaufman obsession. Kaufman anyday.Myself when I am 65. I'd like to know if I'm still capable of saying "I don't do regrets."
People who spend all their money on books; So that I can chair Bookworm Anonymous.
Krzysztof Kieslowski; I would invite him for coffee (and cigarettes) so that we can spend all day musing about the metaphysics of people and pessimism.
People who should stay but have left; It's the theme of my life... the aviation industry should thank me!
People who eat too much foie gras, drink too much coffee and procrastinate on getting healthy.
People with too much time on their hands so that they can sell me theirs.
Potential cat ladies; I might not be able to afford rental when I am 50.
Music:
This is going to be a long one but I'll make it easy- Indie, Anything remotely eargasmic, Eerily serene female voices layered with mellow acoustic guitars, Depressing songwriters who aren't one hit wonders, Icelandic bands who sing in gibberish, People who put my emotions into print with their words, Electronic, House when I am drunk enough and etc...However, you cannot go wrong with The Postal Service, Elliott Smith, Tori Amos, Wilco, Sigur Ros, Mogwai, Royksopp and the likes.
Movies:
Kieslowski is my cinema God- blind chance, three colors, decalogue & etc. Francois Truffaut owns a little thing called my heart- Les Mistons, Jules et Jim & all his nouvelle vague goodness.Little miss sunshine. one flew over the cuckoo's nest. the royal tenenbaums. the hours, secretary, requiem for a dream, jules & jim, jarhead, sin city, LOST IN TRANSLATION, i (heart) huckabees, ADAPTATION, being john malkovich, jerry maguire, school of rock, a very long engagement, closer, a lot like love, BEFORE SUNRISE/SUNSET, vanilla sky, eurotrip, big fish, life is beautiful, MAGNOLIA, american history x, FIGHT CLUB, pulp fiction, girl interrupted, almost famous, the spanish apartment, a la folie pas du tout, mask, the dangerous lives of altar boys, love actually, star wars, matrix, 5X2, amelie, love me if u dare & the list goes on.
Television:
The irony is that I don't watch tv.
Books:
I used to enjoy Coelho: veronika decides to die, the devil and miss prym, eleven minutes. I also think Chuck Palahniuk is a genius: fight club, choke, invisible monsters. the catcher in the rye. the virgin suicides, the curious incident of the dog in the night time, tuesdays with morrie, the 5 people you meet in heaven, identity, the da vinci code, the perks of being a wallflower, anything by amy tan, prozac nation, speak, girl with the pearl earring, what happened to lani garvier, trainspotting(samegoestothemovie), satC and etc. i sadly enjoy flipping through glossy pages of fashion spreads and photoshopped pictures of starving models.
