I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I guess you should take a shot and find out. I'm still on that never ending quest of finding out "about me." But so far the self discovery journey has been quite a ride that I hope has made me a better person & without a doubt, has blessed me with phenominal friends. I'm sincere & real, but what I once thought was being "real," has turned out to be completely relative to ones own shoes that "he" or "she" may be filling at that so-called point in their lives. If it is truly friendship you seek, or even just out of curiosity.... Know that I am extremely loyal, passionate & compassionate, crazy, loving & without bad intentions. Honor is all you have in the end. I don't have all of the answers... The damn questions keep changing up on me!!! But if I did, I would give them all to you.

My Interests

I love to dance, run, snowboard, study, surf, bike, bake, write, read, play with friends, etc. However, I don't get to partake in all of those as often as I would like & currently those thoughts on not at the forefront of my, oh-so overactive brain/imagination. For right now my interest is in discovering who I truly am: What really gets my juices flowin? ...What tickles my fancy? ...What provokes something more than complacency? ...What triggers that warm, fuzzy feeling deep down inside? Where do those butterflies come from anyway? ...What truly IS "happiness?" ...relative to me and the rest of the world? ...And how do we know we're there if the quest never truly ends to better yourself and help those around you achieve the same? After all, that's what we're all really searching for anyway... Isn't it though? ...To love and to be loved. But most importantly, to love yourself, unconditionally. Everything else will still be there to play with, move you, thrill you... even the music that takes you to that higher place will still move you when you return to it- and hopefully all of those who shared that space with me will be there, too.

I'd like to meet:

Revision- I'd like to meet any and all types of people, animals, plants, aliens, assholes, bitches & hos, etc... You get my drift. Even mean people have their good days. Everyone screws up, however, in the end all you have left is your honor... This one still holds true and real for us all.

Music:

"D. All of the above." It all depends on my mood, or the mood I want to be in. I love to rage with Slipknot, NIN, Tool & Marilyn Manson. However, I have been known to shake a tale feather(or two), for hours on end to breaks, funky house, drum'n'base- whatever gets the party started & asses shakin! Massive Attack, Kruder, STP, Louis Armstrong, Old Blue Eyes, Beethoven & countless others can take you to that "place" with their talent using the slightest of effort... You have to appreciate them all.

Movies:

Donnie Darko, Interview with a Vampire, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, True Romance, The Godfather, Gone with the Wind, Scarface, Revenge, and a plethera more that I can't think of right now cause they're just not that important. Movies that make me think, cry, laugh, & love.

Television:

Depends on what I want to lose myself in at that particular moment, or even find myself in.

Books:

The way of the Peaceful Warrior, Where ever you go, there you are, Beloved, Mutant Message from Down Under & any Anne Rice Novel. It's easy to fall into characters in Anne Rice novels. It's interesting to relate immortal struggles with that of our own, relating that we have only this lifetime to make the best, or the worst of & each one of us is going to choose that path best suited for "what," "why," & "how?" we want to sit back and experience the ride. The characters remind me that you can live your life to its fullest, repeat the same mistakes one to one million times till you get it right, waste energy on the inconsequentials(or what I have adopted as the "barrel of 'What ifs?'"), or even die, having not ever really lived. Oh yeah, I also have a fascination with vampires and the underworld. "Where the Wild Things Are" is a classic, of course; as well as any Dr. Seuss book. Photo/Art books. And once again, the list can go on....

Heroes:

All of my friends and maybe even you. Bruce Lee, Lance Armstrong, the Budha, the Dragon, those who step up, those who learn from their mistakes and don't take shit, sometimes even me. Micah Jameson Figone, my mom, my cousins Rodney & Markie. And once again... the list goes... you know by now.
