Ivan was born in Croatia in 1981. He moved to The USA in 2001.
Trough out his whole life Ivan was highly influenced with all kind of different music genres – from folk to grunge, rock, heavy metal, funk, disco, R&B, and the list goes on and on. In his early teens his music selection suddenly changed after listening to Prodigies “FAT OF THE LANDâ€, one of his favorite albums till this day. After that day his music selection took a complete 180. He discovered electronic music.
When he was only 17 he helped organize The first party at what is now called Club Lazareti, Dubrovnik, Croatia. Right now same club, Lazareti, is doing 2 yearly MTV shows with top 10 world DJ’s from around the world.
As it was mentioned above, Ivan moved to the USA in 2001; moved to Colorado in 2003 and there he met his mentor and teacher Srdjan Zivkovic aka. DJ Spider (Serbia).
His first contact with turntables was only 2 years ago, and his talent was recognized immediately. Two months after his first encounter with a “needle†he made his first mixed CD House Fusion, and that was soon after followed with Inside Out vol.1, Inside Out vol. 2, and Feed Your Addiction.
He was soon recognized for his DJ abilities and he started playing and organizing parties in Colorado Springs and Denver. He was DJ-ing at almost every club in Colorado Springs and Denver area and we are going to mention a few - The Church(DEN), Funky Buddha (DEN), SPA(DEN), Club Eden (COS), Club Blondie's(COS),SODO(COS), 13 PURE(COS). Along with that he helped organized first house music radio show in Colorado Springs after 7 years of silence - My 99.9 radio!!!
He was highly influenced in his current music selections by these DJ-s - Dave Clark, Jeff Mils, Sven Vath, Westbam, Carl Cox, Donald Glaude, Umek, Pete Tong, John Digweed, Timo Mass, Nick Warren, Steve Rachmad, Ronald Garnier, Silicon Soul, Daft Punk, Tomcraft, Moby, Chemical Brothers ………….
Ivan recently moved to Mississippi, where he planes to finish producing his first album, and continue his venture in playing hard dark base lines and organizing parties. Stay locked in your seatbelts – the ride has just begun.
