Dj.Houserocka was born and bred in Texas where his musical journey began for him some 12 yrs ago. With some of the hottest clubs being in Houston, Dominick Brillon, "Dj Houserocka" , began to understand that music was changing; and that he wanted to be apart the this new era that was quickly evolving. With a quick and un-forscene turn events, he found himself just off the coast of Mississippi, and then that was when everything truly began to take its course.....
Meeting Dj Rich-E at a local houseparty is where the art of Djing was introduced to him. Completley consumed by the fast paced industry, his creativity and understanding quickly grew.It didnt take long for him to start playing at local clubs and underground party's . Getting a taste of a larger crowd is what truly made him want to grow! Seeing the electrifying pulse of a crowd seimotaneously putting there hands in the air! And when the silence broke with a dirty bassline it took him to a place of peace, to know that they wanted more, gave him complete satisfaction.
The past 2 yrs Dominick has been focusing on his music production more and more. In 2008 Houserocka is starting a 1100 square ft studio in Houma so that he can be close to his music; and be close to his wife and kids at the same time. Having it all will bring many fat beats straight from the heart and soul, and straight to dancefloor in years to come. Recently meeting with Nick from Royal One Records has given him the ambition to continue this journey and bring in a new chapter in music. STAY TUNED there's more to come.
