Bruce"PERK" Briggz has been playing the drums since the tender age of 2. Even at such a young age his love and devotion to Christ was evident in the intensity in which he played. His first appearance was an experience that he would never forget, and also one that would keep him humble and grounded for years to come. At the age of 5 on a Sunday morning in a packed out church, he played for the youth choir (JC's Youth Troop) and has been playing for some of the most renowned artists since.Bruce Briggz has accompanied some of the worlds greatest GOSPEL and mainstream
R&B artists of OUR time. To include but not limited to: Phillip Bryant, Keith Staton, Darwin Hobbs, J. Moss, KEYS, Vicki Winans, Vicki Yohie, Charles and Taylor, Da Brothers, Universal Praise, Shea Taylor, J.Elise, and others alike. His passion for music is like NO OTHER and his drive for spiritual recompense is colossal. Mr.Briggz can be defined as one who has a heart for God and His people, in which he strives to ascertain all that he can to add to the Kingdom. His devotion to the Body of Christ is manifested in his work ethic as well as his piety to other musicians. Always willing to add to and not take away, you will find Bruce Briggz working in many capacities such as touring with KEYS while also maintaining his position as the house drummer for SOUL’S (Seeking Out Unsaved and Lost Souls) Christian Club in the piedmont of Fayetteville, NC. Bruce Briggz is an avid drummer who puts no limitations on God or the divine plan that He has for his life. The epitome of “brotherly love†Mr.Briggz is well known to both locally and nationally recognize musicians and often credits their hard work and dedication as his motivation to continue to be the best that he can be.
