..anachronisms; people who live for beauty; people in search of better things; artists, of all types. :3
lots and varying. :x
..Truffaut's "Jules et Jim" has made a lasting impression on me, and is perhaps my favourite film.
"Baby Face", because it's as shocking today as it was when it was made back in 1933 (also, Barbara Stanwyck!) "Lost Highway" is a headache i keep inflicting on myself, but i love it. Cacoyannis' "Iphigenia" is a gem of a film. hard to find, but if it ever crosses your path, don't hesitate to watch it.
also, i'd like to encourage everyone to pay more attention to TCM and rent "Dark City" (noir+scifi? mmyes)
law&order, often ; very behind on the new battlestar galactica, but am enamoured with gaius/six.
*favourites: Charlotte Brontë, Edgar Allan Poe, Ray Bradbury, F. Scott Fitzgerald
*otherwise: world mythologies/folk and fairy tales, Gothic/Victorian fiction, and various works on history (ex. most anything on Ancient Egypt, Greece, and Rome is to my taste), anthropology/archaeology..
