Odin

I was born on December 21, 2005. I am an AKC registered, pure-bred labrador retriever. I am the sole dog (and animal) living with my human "dad." Sometimes I'm a little bit timid around new dogs and I don't always join their games, but I like to be at the park and watch what everyone else is doing. I weigh approximately 72 pounds which actually makes me "skinny" considering how tall I am compared to a "normal" lab. Despite the fact that I love food, I am told I need to watch what I eat and therefore can't accept random treats (unless dad doesn't catch me). I am allergic to some grains like corn and wheat which give me ear infections. I am also intolerant of lamb which makes me puke. Otherwise, I'm healthy and very happy (and have great vets). I love little kids and anyone who will give me attention. I eat three meals a day, but I'm hoping to increase that as much as possible. I like to play with tennis balls, often keeping one in my mouth as I chase after another. When I am not playing or eating, I'll nap on the sofa or dad's bed. I haven't been to obedience school, (I can sit and shake hands, but only when there is food present as a motivator) but I think I'm a pretty smart dog. Dad says that someday I will have a brother, but until then I am enjoying my life without any complaints.
