About Me

Pessimistic, nihilistic, self-loathing, amoral, funny in a cynical way, and sometimes confident without my knowing it. I'm usually quiet, but I've opinions and answers to all sorts of things. I keep to myself usually, but on occasion you'll see me talking to someone I know or walking about aimlessly.

This contains all my recent poetry that I don't forward into my web site: http://groups.msn.com/satansmindinjakeshead/general.msnw

My other site, full of poetry and rantings (though rarely updated anymore): http://home.triad.rr.com/dyrwen

I like to make poetry that sounds more interesting to the ear than it looks to the eye on the page.

First Write in Awhile

I had a walk, then had a thought, after watching "Dear Wendy" this arose. It begins as metaphor for watching moon, then lamposts, but ends with a thought of the feeling amongst my computer in my room....

Poem Au-Naturale

Poetry is always such a reflection of self, if I could count the number of times I started off a poem with describing a body part I'd probably pass out trying. I was pondering Sartre-existentialism an...

Politics of Cynicism

I thought this when I wrote it " It really sums up my style of cynicism, I feel, though using a cliche'd form such as "can you hear that?" or "this is the smallest violin playing just for the ___" res...
