About Me

23 May 1965 - a black day in history! It was the end of good old tramline nr. 5 in Groot-Mokum, It ran from Centraal Station via Weesperplein to Amstelstation, during its final years as a rush hour line only. It was changed into a busline and forever I will be sitting at the back of this empty bus, racing along the Weesperstraat, the deejay in my head putting on (for some mysterious reason) The Zombies with She's coming home, which I had to have after this. The original line as I knew it ran with Utrecht material (series 301-311) with the famous "big birdcages" 931-950 behind them. Let me stop before I start weeping...

My Interests

Nature, cartography, history in general, history of the labour movement in particular, more particular of the anarchist movement, most particular of christian anarchism. Furthermore: je suis un marxiste tendance Groucho...
