Our Mission is to GUIDE ACTORS TO EXCELLENCE. The Dearing studio is headed by Matthew Dearing, actor and coach for the past five years. Matthew has worked in film, television and theatre. He has trained all over the country with instructors such as Larry Moss and Terry Schreiber. His most recent film was "The Comet", starring James Cosmo (Braveheart). Kim Dearing is a local actor and a coach for the past two years. She has worked and trained extensively in film, dance
and theatre. Recently she was in Kids in America, starring Topher Grace and Anna Faris. Leeann Infranco is a local actor who has trained in theatre, film, and dance. She will soon be in the production Romeo and Juliet (Southwest Shakespeare) playing the role of Juliet.Our focus is to create 'working' actors. Students will be given well-rounded training including movement, character development, improvisation, Meisner technique, and some of the latest ideas from acclaimed acting coach Larry Moss. Whether you have never stepped on a film set before, or have been acting for years, we believe these fundamentals will continue to improve your craft. We look forward to working with you.
