First, I am a Christian (of the conservative type), although I haven't always lived that way (T.G.I.F.). I am blessed to also be a Christian counselor. I am working on a website, and I'll include a link when I get that going. I am also a wife and mother - roles I enjoy and take seriously. We have fun together, and love each other through the scrapes and bumps of life. I try not to be a counselor in our home, but that's easier said than done. For fun, I like the whole notion of "COUNTRY". Living near Nashville has fueled an ongoing interest in the country and christian music industries - you'll see that reflected here. I'm a distant cousin of Keith Anderson, country singer/songwriter from Miami, OK. We went to Keith's hometown in OK this summer to his "homecoming" and video shoot. My daughter appears for about 1 1/2 seconds in his "Podunk" video (check it out at CMT or GAC). Can't believe it's already been over a year ago since most of the pics were taken in 2006. We've seen Keith several times since then, and continue to wish him well! I also cheer on Brice Long, singer songwriter from my hometown. We graduated from the same high school, but did not know each other. He has some awesome talent. It's been great following the music careers of both these home-town guys. They are deserving and truly nice folks - raised right, you know? Thanks to all the great people who I have met. I look forward to meeting others with common interests. The older I get, the more I understand that it is truly a small world!
