FrankieThaLuckyDog: Doing Rap and Dance Music

About Me

I, FrankieThaLuckyDog, was born Frankie S. on June 21, 1988 on Long Island, New York.
I first fell in love wit music in tha Summer of 2000, when I and my mom had Long Island's Party Station, Party 105.3 on. They played tha BEST DANCE and RAP music, and it made a HUGE influence on me to really like both DANCE and RAP music. Every weeknight, DJ's Leo G & Billy Da Kid would do tha "Pump It Or Dump It" at 7:15 PM. Tha "Pump It Or Dump It" featured BRAND NEW DANCE and RAP music; nobody else premiered these songs BEFORE Party 105! Sadly, on April 30, 2001, tha DJ's left, and tha Pump It Or Dump It ended, but got replaced for "Smash Or Trash" wit AG in May 2001. However, on September 11, 2001, tha "Smash Or Trash" ended and never came back due to tha terrorist attacks! There may have been less RAP premieres, but Party 105 ALWAYS keeps tha DANCE premieres pumpin'!
In February 2001, I was diagnosed wit Autism/Aspergers . I have a very mild case of it. This iz why I don't socialize much. Some people are confused about me. They think I'm nerdy, or sometimes they think I'm gay. Well, that's not tha case. I'm diagonised wit Autism/Aspergers , and I'm a different person. They also say that Autistic people are VERY SMART. I happen to be VERY SMART. When it comes to lottery, numbers, dates, music, you wouldn't believe how much I know/remember.
Tha worst day of my life was on August 17, 2002; I moved away from Long Island, New York and moved up to Northeast Pennsylvania. That day, I lost 95% of my family, all my music stations, tha New York lottery, my active life, and my friends, as well as The Jefferson School a.k.a. THA BEST FUCKIN' SCHOOL EVER (Lackawanna College iz close to being tied wit HOW GOOD that school was)!!!!!
HIGHLIGHTS Of My Life In Tha Music Bu$ine$$:
January 12, 2004: I got digital cable. It made me have MUSIC SOURCES all over again (TOP SOURCES: MTV2, MTV Jams, Music Choice Rap, and Music Choice Dance)
In tha week of January 16, 2004 - January 23, 2004: For tha first time, I COMPLETED MY FIRST YEAR END COUNTDOWN; tha Top 333 Songs Of 2003
April 19, 2004: for tha first time, I started keeping track of my playlists (3 week playlists) by keeping a piece of paper and pen wit me everywhere I go to write each number of time I played each current song
Towards tha end of April 2004: I premiered Mississippi underground rapper D-Boy Caprice's song "Now Or Never", tha FIRST underground internet song I AIRED
May 21, 2004: On MTV Hits, they played 10 dayz of Madonna's videos, interviews, etc. non-stop and commercial free. After that day, Madonna became my FAVORITE ARTIST OF ALL TIME, and my BIGGEST INFLUENCE
June 13, 2004: Amanda Diva, formerly of MTV2, SHOUTED ME OUT (video link coming soon)!!!!!
June 15, 2004: Narcotic Thrust's song "I Like It" came out, and stayed on my playlist from 6.23.2004 - 7.10.2005, a total of 55 WEEKS, tha HIGHEST NUMBER OF WEEKS EVER!!!!!
July 4, 2004: The Game REPLIED TO MY PRIVATE MESSAGE; tha FIRST RAPPER to TALK TO ME ONLINE!!!!!
September 24, 2004: I decided to listen to tha song "Anything But You" by Way Out West; it INFLUENCED me to listen to Electronica music and tha channel Music Choice Electronica
October 4, 2004: Rappers 334 Mobb sent me an e-mail to join their message board. From there, I would talk to them on AIM a lot. Today, in 2008, it's VERY HARD to get a hold of them now; SHAME SHAME SHAME!!!
October 24, 2004: I got my FIRST REAL BIG MIXTAPE, DJ Burn One "Gorilla N Da Trunk 4 (Hosted by Paul Wall)", and it became an INFLUENCE for me to buy/get mixtapes
November 18.2004: I called up Paul Wall, and he answered on THA FIRST TRY. He iz THA FIRST RAPPER I TALKED TO IN REAL LIFE (number got discontinued in Summer 2005)!!!!!
In tha beginning of 2006: UGK became my favorite Rap group of all time.
May 2006: I finally found out that Bananarama sung tha 80's classic "Cruel Summer", so I decided to listen to a bunch of their classics, and I fell in love wit about 20 SONGS, so I decided to make them my favorite girl group of all time
July 15, 2006: I started mixing Rap songs together, and I called myself DJ FrankieThaLuckyDog. You can check out my mixes here: http://www.myspace.com/djfrankiethaluckydog
September 1, 2006: I began college (at orientation), and I was SO HAPPY I was away from high school! At college, I met SO many friends, and made my debut into tha urban world. My friends mean a lot to me (at times when they really care), but tha people in tha music industry (like Jimmy The DJ and DeTrane; even rappers like Dee-1) care a lot more for me.
November 19, 2006: I made my own version of Fedde Le Grand's "Put Your Hands Up For Detroit" called "Put Your Hands Up For Long Island". I then shot tha video tha two weeks after Christmas, and I edited it on 1.22.2007. Once it hit tha net, everyone iz falling in love wit it!
December 7, 2006: In tha college dorm, I spit a 12 minute freestyle (only 7 minutes iz recorded). That was one of my highlighted moments because due to my Autism/Aspergers , it's hard for me to come up wit rhymes, so that was a MAJOR BLE$$ING!
December 30, 2006: I created this Myspace music page from my best friend Lil' Frankie's computer.
January 22, 2007: I created tha "Put Your Hands Up For Long Island" video, and I'm enjoying tha luv I'm gettin' for it. ;)
February 20, 2007: I officially called Lil' Wayne my favorite rapper
March 26, 2007: I began to write tha lyrics to my first rap song "Who I Am"
April 25, 2007: I shot tha first scene to my first rap song's video "Who I Am"
August 19, 2007 @ 9:01 PM: FINALLY! My first rap song "Who I Am" iz CREATED!

March 29, 2008: "Put Your Hands Up For Long Island" got played for tha 2nd time (but 1st time in its ENTIRETY) on Long Island's Party 105.3 at close to 3:00 PM!!!!!!!!!!
April 13, 2008 @ 12:41 AM: A new song (which I wrote, produced, recorded, and edited) for my 64 year old rappin' grandma, "Heart Throbbin' Every Heartbeat", was created!! I wrote tha lyrics on February 15, 20, 21, 25, and March 1, 2008.

Currently, April 19, 2008: I sold only 30 copies of my CD Single "Who I Am" so far and 3 copies of "Heart Throbbin' Every Heartbeat", but I'm still coming up with another song... It's goin' to be a dance song. I can't tell you what tha song iz going to be about, but it's going to be hella creative. I'm sure NOBODY in tha world would've thought of what I'm thinkin'... I won't sell it due to tha vocals will contain a somebody that I don't have permission from/won't get anyway. Anyway, feel free to holla at me.
