Pop Punk Forever

About Me

A band whose accomplishments now include two movies (Tweek City - Official Selection, Dances with Films, 2005; Permanent Thunder), play on television, radio, internet, and constant west-coast touring was birthed in the early 1990s from the lower sonar equipment room of a US Coast Guard cutter. Disillusioned by their indenture to the federal government, the three founding members began writing songs about disastrous US policy, social injustice, and the perils of seditious love. These mutinous sailors recruited a fourth member from the outside, a simple anarchist from Wyoming by way of Prague, to play lead guitar. Fiercely independent since 1996, the band has released three CDs - Gnaw on It (1997), Heavy Handed Hospitality (2000), Monkeys Throw Shit (2002) on its own Buttflower Records label and been included in three compilations. Visitor 42's fourth album is due for release in early 2008.
