"Concrete - Guerilla Warfare"
Biography.
A new star is born. Not a star as in a celebrity. Not a star as those in the sky, even tho he believes sky's the limit. Im talkin about a black star, as in the one on the flag. The flag he represents: the red, gold and green. A black star is born. Concrete is born on 28-09-83 as the third child of the family (the fourth child is known today as recording artist Heinek'n). His parents both from Cape Verde, Africa, but now livin in Rotterdam south. This is also the place where Concrete is born, grows up, gain life experiences and is still livin till this day.
As a kid Concrete start sneakin out of bed at 2 a.m. to watch YO! MTV Raps. He gets introduced to HipHop by his oldest brother who at that time is listening to: Tim Dog, Public Enemy and NWA. As fascinated as the 12 years old Concrete is, he really starts following HipHop. He would soon find out HipHop is a culture, a movement he is now part of. As a fan of Naughty By Nature he now starts writing his own rhymes and it wouldn't take him that long to find out he is good at it.
At 13 years old he gets on stage for the first time. After that day the adrenaline never stopped rushing and he never stopped performing. Today he is known for his great live shows filled with concepts and energy with his partner in rhyme: D-Son. Together they form SoS, since 2000, wich stands for Stories Of Slavery. He is also a part of eXOdust (GMB, Eject, DJ Styles, D-Son and Concrete). His music, as he calls it, is a product of his enviroment. He writes about everything that keeps him busy. From his love for Africa, the streets of Rotterdam (south) and the situations black people and the world are in. As rebel minded as he is, his inspiration comes from people like: Amilcar cabral, Malcolm X, Bob Marley, Huey P. Newton and basicly all the Black Leaders, his family of course and just the simple things in life.
Well I guess we can say Concrete aka L.Jazeera aka TheBlackStarLiner done came a long way and he still aint where he wants to be. In other words be on the look out cuz If you still dont know who he is you are about to find out.
