Hey everyone,
I have been singing in choirs since Grade 2. I love to sing..and sing on stage in huge musical's such as Les Miserables and Anne of Green Gables etc. I have been taught by some very admirable instructors and am now in a Visual and Performing Arts program at the Fort McMurray, Alberta's community college www.keyano.ca.
I am an acting student and a musician. Right now I am getting a half hour professional voice instruction a week and will be performing a classical or musical piece a week in front of a body of students in a Master Class. I also play guitar.
I have been trained in private lessons for a number of years by Dale Fortier, a folk guitar musician/teacher, as well as a country/rock teacher, as well as a Metal Shredding instructor by the name of TONY, who now plays in an Iron Maiden Tribute Band. I know very basic theory and am alright at sight-reading. I plan on being in a band at some point but I am very particular as to who it is with.
I look at people's lives and personalities more than at their skill with an instrument. I love anything from Iron Maiden to Killswitch Engage to City and Colour and Dashboard Confessional. I play guitar with some incrediblemusicians and live and breathe music on many types of stages. I am very open minded musically, yet very picky.
I own my own business through www.acncanada.ca and have payed for all my schooling so far on scholarship. My best subjects have always been English, Social Studies, History, Phys. Ed., Drama, Music. I have won awards in some of those.
Dramatically I have been trained by the Alberta Improv Head: K Towsley and am now learning vocal lessons from L Glover and taking Voice and Speech as well as Acting under D Abel.
I plan to be living in southern Alberta in the fall hopefully attending www.rosebudschoolofthearts.com if business things go well enough.
I love Jesus Christ and am a follower of him, however I do not believe in a lot of the 'modern churches' where Tradition and Rules take over the meaning of the Bible.
I am also EXTREMELY RANDOM and love to have a lot of fun....all of the time....which I have been told does drain some people.
I have instructed children in Wakeboarding, I Snowboard, try to Skateboard, and love to talk...or sing...or scream. I also read a lot and am somewhat obsessed with Animals, Cars, Trucks, Boats, Mountains, Sunsets, and very very very nice/and extremely good-looking girls!
