Two bogan bedroom guitar players decided it would be time to start writing music together so they could hopefully do some uber pwning. Only recently started, it’s coming along all right and we’re starting to get more and more material together. A few songs shall be done in the next two weeks and hopefully we can program some drums and get some more tunes up there so we can get some critique.
We are looking for a bassist and drummer, so the only members at the moment are myself (Marcus – Guitars) and Michael (Guitars). We take influences from quite a few different bands and genres, but we’re basically a Tech Death Metal band who use 7 strings and try to incorporate a lot of melodies, melodic tunes and a lot of jazz fusion. Bands that influence us include Necrophagist, Meshuggah, Sonata Arctica, Shawn Lane, Brett Garsed, Opeth, Nile, Cannibal Corpse, Elton John (woah a bit weird :P), Pantera, Blind Guardian, Racer X, Cacophony, Jason Becker and a lot of other rawking bands.
We record using a Podxt and we get a mate (Ryan, we love you :D) to program drums for us. Mike uses an ADA MP1 preamp into an Ada Microtube 100 poweramp into a Marshall 1936 2x12 cab and Jackson guitars (DK2M and COW7). I use a Peavey Ultra 60 watt head into a Line 6 2x12 cab and a Dean Vendetta 7 string. That’s pretty much us.
So yeah, if you can add us, show some mates or whatever, that’d be real cool.
