About Me

I have been playing guitar since I was 16 years old, but only got serious about it when I was 20. I practice for hours on end it seems every day. I enjoy learning everything I can about the guitar, from technique and style, to the electronic components that allow electric guitars to sound different from one another. I have tinkered with electonic circuits, and building simple guitar effects pedals, and hope to someday be able to build my own tube amplifiers and effects. I would also thouroughly enjoy the art of luthire (guitar building), but I understand it is quite time consuming. Someday I hope to be able to devote myself to it full time.
Many other things in life interest me, and spending time with everything that inspires me would leave myself spread too thin. I am caught in the universal delima of how to best spend my time. Music plays a large role in my life, and I can't even imagine how mundane it would be without the wonderous sights and sounds I've seen and heard. So that is why I spend so much time in "musical solitude".

My Interests

All things guitar, from playing to building, that's where it's at for me! Other areas interest include electronics, computers, multitudes of music, recording, photography, swimming, camping, and most any activity that involves nature!

I'd like to meet:

Other inspired musicians of all styles with which we can communicate solely through our music. Everyone has something to teach, as well as something to learn. Having accepted that, what are we waiting for?
