FIELD VIEW- 2007

About Me

Imagine lying back on soft grass, looking up at the clouds, a cold beer, a hot day and amazing music flowing. This is the scene at the Field View Festival. Field View is a mini festival started by the Cameron Brothers, with help from their friends, in order to bring people together and listen to mind-blowing music.
Scheduled this year for August 9th 2008, Fieldview will be growing and aiming to take things a step further. This year Fieldview will retain its intimate and community feel by limiting its attendance to 500 people.
2007 was graced by 400 people of all ages, 10 bands and two DJ's. The weekend was capped off by beautiful weather and locally produced and home made food.2007 was build upon green principles, not to be seen as part of a trend or an imitation of Glastonbury but due to a belief that the environment should be the top priority in all of mankinds decisions. Aiming to minimise its impact, nearly all the waste in 2007 was recycled or composted. In 2008, this belief will continue with even more focus being on environmental awareness. The festival is famed for its not for profit attitude, intimacy and quality of music. 2008 will be the festivals third year and expect it to build upon the success of 2007.The line up for 2008 is still to be announced.....
