Gei Shu is a modest but moody Japanese- Icelandic girlfriendband, that has released her new album "Sake of Moody Zen"under D*** head man Records label on the 24th of December.The name of the band comes from Geisha, the word consists of two parts, "Gei" meaning “art” and "Sha" meaning “person”. The most direct translation of Gei Shu into English would be “cutie arts person”.Gei Shu is freelance entertainer as well as conversationalist who works in the pleasure quarters of Reykjavik. This controversial Japanese –Icelandic girlfriend does give public concerts but the majority of her music is performed in private engagements.Her music is like a maneristic multilayered make-up with plenty of references to google aesthetics and noodle wok - that can contain anything. Gei Shu creates a jolly research of sagas, future telling, memories of geishas and pop-psychology.
