About Me

I'm a writer at heart, but never enjoy writing things like these. Not enough info and you can't grab anyone's attention. Too many details and people lose interest. So, attention and interest aside, peruse these words as you see fit, and leave when you like.
Like astrology? I'm a Capricorn-Aquarius cusper with Virgo rising and a Cancer Moon. Don't like astrology? Strike that last couple of sentences from your memory.
I'm a little crazy, and kind of a snot (Kat calls it "diva," but I adamantly disagree with that term...usually). Most people like it and find it funny, or so they tell me to my face.
For someone who loves to travel, I really haven't been many places. I guess you could say I love the IDEA of travelling.
My close friends, and I'm blessed with quite a few, are my family and my life. We may occasionally drift and come close to losing touch, but ours is a bond not easily broken. And if you've known us long enough, you probably think we've tried to break them ourselves.
I'm also getting a lot better at discerning acquaintances from friends.
I love grammar and spelling. I'm a copy editor at heart. I can't lie to you. If you're less-than-proficient at either, I may judge you a little. But, that doesn't mean I don't like you.
I love order, too. I should probably be tested for OCD.
I can be a little dramatic. Most of it is feigned for humor sake. Some of it, not so much. Another thing I'm working on.
If you need to know more, please don't be afraid to ask.
I love the following: Shirley Manson; George Stromboulopolous; tigers, dolphins and giraffes; my nieces and nephews; British everything; Canadians; beer; the color green; wine; sushi; Sailorjupiter; red licorice; bowling; tennis; big words and extensive vocabularies; speaking functional Spanish; sarcasm.
I don't love the following: awkward silences; the word "fececious"; stupidity; the idea of having any children of my own; Paris Hilton; people who have no reason to pretend not to know you, yet still do; people who can't grow up and get over themselves or own up to their actions; names like "Bennifer," "Brangelina," "Tomkat" and "Vaughniston".

My Interests

ginormous CD/DVD/book collections, random attempts at creativity, journalism, photography, travelling, kissing, bowling, tennis, Shirley Manson, Angelina Jolie, George Stromboulopolous, British people & culture, mythology, tattoos, piercings, black hair & eyeliner, astrology, tarot, magick, reading, videogames, beer pong, My Trivia Live, Detroit, Vegas, D.C., Atlanta, spontaneous Meijer runs, all sorts of other stuff...

I'd like to meet:

Shirley Manson, Angelina Jolie, Colin Farrell, Adam Levine, Tina Fey, Tori Amos, Sarah McLachlan, those kooky Eisley kids, Marilyn Manson, J.K. Rowling, George Stromboulopolous, Anne Rice, Anderson Cooper, Tim Gunn, Nina Garcia, Oprah Winfrey, Mike Rowe, Anna Nalick, Queen Rania of Jordan, Bill & Hilary Clinton, Helena Bonham Carter, Justine Henin. Fellow fabulous Aquarian redheads. Brits. People who know the words to the 'Moonlight Densetsu.' People who know what the 'Moonlight Densetsu' is. People who like stuff.

PLEASE READ ME:

If I don't already know you, please send me a message to accompany your friend request. If you're a friend of a friend, great! Tell me so. Details are greatly appreciated! Also, my profile is not private. If yours is, then forgive me, but you probably shouldn't be friending someone you don't know (and it's a little off-putting). I'm not a friend collector, either. If you are, please ignore me entirely. And that's not a request I make often.
Give la chupacabra some love and you might score some bonus points:

adopt your own virtual pet!
Really, she could fuck you up.
