Whats up, people call me Pd and im from Detroit, i moved to Illinois now back in tha 313 and started makin more serious beats. ive always been into music as long as its good. i like any music that takes talent. Why this name? The reason i chose this name was because its PURE DOPE in all sense of the words.
Do you play live? I Dont play live but if you give me the chance i would take it in a heart beat. I have preformed live before with this band i was in and it was amazing, just to play music in front of a live audience is a rush in itself. How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry? The internet helps the music industry because it allows the user to surf the web and find local bands that are trying to get noticed and with the internet and mp3s it allows the unknown to be known. Would you sign a record contract with a major label? Depends on with who, i would like to make an independent label and start my own. Band History: I have been makin beats for 5 years now, and they are only getting better. i dont focus on one type of music or sound because then you get to cought up in making the music sound a certain way. I jus get in the zone and produce the beats.i dont know how to read music so i do it all by ear. Your influences? Triple 6 mafia, 2 pac, biggie, big l, the game, bone thugs, midwest mobstaz, grimeyville, the goon squad, dipset, eminem, dj shadow, the Wutang, gangstar, a tribe called quest, ice cube, do or die, twista Favorite spot?
