About Me

I began playing the guitar at 13 years of age. My father was the first person to teach me about chords and rhythm. I come from a family of musicians and it was only natural that I to would play guitar. I continued to play by ear and I would jam with other musicians at school. I then attended Musicians Institute and graduated in 1988 recieving my certificate. There I studied with the best instructors and had the unique opportunity to sit it and watch great players such as Paul Gilbert, Paul Hanson, Scott Henderson, Norman Brown and Nick Nolan just to name a few. I then started teaching myself at local music stores and also gave private guitar instructions. During this time I was meeting other musicians and continuing to play and write my own music. I have since recorded several self produced demos and continue to write my own original music.Bio: Graduate GIT, Member of BMI, runner up West LA "Guitarist of the Year 1990," Guitarmeggedon "judge" 2005 in store competition West Covina, featured in "Guitarnine Undiscovered" section, live and recording experience, one on private guitar lessons.Check out the guitarist from the band "Soulive" go off!!!!I love to play!!!"Down home blues" w/Soundzmystik 2008My equipment: Mesa Boogie Mark IV steel string, Fender Lone star and nylon string Ibanez Jewel Blue RG 550 for shredding/metal Fender Squire Korg D1200 for recording
