All rap isn’t bad rap but most of it is. With Tupac gone, and artist like Nas not getting much attention the people are left with one hit wonders and people listening to songs like “Chicken Noodle soup” and “hit that bitch with a bottle”. Flip through BET and every video is filled with voluptuous women parading around booty clapping. Every song glorifies selling dope, spending money on expensive cars and jewelry. Today rappers talk about doing things (such as selling drugs) that they’ve never done. As a result people spend more time on the block hustling for Jordan’s and clothes than working to pay rent. These are the Symptoms. Hip Hop is dead Nas said; well its time to resurrect it!Terry A. Aaron ,by government, Samson by streets is a refreshingly talented new artist originating from Chicago. Growing up in poverty, surrounded by violence, and emerged into street pharmaceuticals and gang affiliation at a young age he was forced to grow up quickly. Back and forth from relative to relative, city to city, school to school. Samson grew frustrated with life and opted for a change. After successfully completing high school he ventured off to college. Despite his success after only a short period Samson felt college was not the place for him. Once again Samson found himself in a new place (Louisiana) where he tried to maintain a legitimate lifestyle. As most involved in similar situations would understand change isn’t easy. Samson turned to writing about his life and experiences to alleviate the stresses and burdens of the past, working with producers Reggie Vader and Eb Suede of MOFA Productions, somewhat of his childhood mentors out of Chicago. Soon, after hearing his work he linked up with producer Orlando "Internationally Known"Williamson, thus the story began.Poetic and heartfelt, real and uncut, verbally versatile; Samson is sure to bring back all the elements that hip hop is in need of. Dedicated to being real this will not be a commercial artist. Sit back and listen to what is really going on.
