About Me

Hmmmm. What is expected of me? Oh yes, these things.

I'm Flannery. I'm a pretty basic person. I like things. I dislike things. I do things which entertain me in my spare time. I work two jobs, one at Petsmart, and one at the soul-stealing retail hell known as Calvin Klein. I have three dogs which I blame all of my farts on. (Just kidding, I don't fart. I'm a lady.) One is a great big dumb great dane. One is a fat happy lab with his own fat happy lab dance. And one is an incredibly stinky old pug who doesn't need farts blamed on him because he is just one big solid furry fart.

I am an artist of sorts. I am always drawing, painting, doodling, sketching, photoshopping, photographing etc. It's my lifeblood and my passion.

I also model in my spare time, and I have been studying Japanese for a few years. I have been to Japan, as well as Ireland several times. I love traveling, and try to have as many adventures as possible. Life's short, right?

I live with my boyfriend in Stanwood, though we will be soon be moving, hopefully to Milwaukee to go to art school. He spends most of his time blowing raspberries on me. No, he isn't mentally challenged, It's just what they do in Ireland. Or so he tells me.

That's pretty much it. I think you'll find out that, despite being a little weird, I am a really nice, down-to-earth type person. I'm a left-handed, right-brained, grumbly Irish little art nut. :)

Art, photography (In a casual sense, I'm no serious photographer), reading, writing, cynicism, Daire, food, music, movies, philosophy, politics, discussion and debate, history, modeling, Flash/Photoshop, my dogs, life in general.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone intriguing. Those who defy trends and simply are. An enigma. An ignoramus with which to debate.

Music:

A wide variety of stuff. Favorite bands are: Placebo, Muse, Garbage, Tom Petty, The Mars Volta, The White Stripes.

Movies:

Lost Boys, Lord of the Rings, Fifth Element, The Professional (Anything by Luc Besson), Sin City, Spiderman, 28 Days Later (Any good zombie movies) etc. etc. The Hills Have Eyes, Alien, Airplane, Wuthering Heights, The Breakfast Club, Garden State, Brick, Blow, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli stuff, anything by Tim Burton, Garden State, From Hell, Dario Argento's Phantom of the Opera, Harold and Maude, Black Sheep (Pretty much anything with Chris Farley), Batman, V for Vendetta, The New World, Sin City, X-Men, Across the Universe, Darjeeling Limited.
