RaldoAsher

RaldoAsher is a young Swiss Reggae artist. Freshly arrived on the reggae scene, RaldoAsher was already active on other musical styles before (ska for exemple). In 2005, Raldo meet the Twelve Tribes of Israel and discover the teaching of His Imperial Majesty Haile Selassie I JAH Rastafari trough the teaching of Dr Vernon Carrington aka Prophet Gad. Then he choose the name RaldoAsher because of the month of birth (Tribe of Asher represent the month of december). In 2006, the man called Asher Selector propose to Raldo to work with him and his Positive Airline soundsystem. From that time, they perform together in different places with different artists. In 2006 Raldo open Fidel Nadal (ARG) and Jahcoustix (GE) at Montreux Jazz Festival (CH) in Miles Davis Hall and at Eurockéenes de Belfort and also open Sylford Walker'shows (JA) in several cities in Switzerland, France and Italy. In 2007 Raldo and Asher Selector go to Belgrade/Serbia for a show with Trenchtown Rockers sound (SER), to Ljubljana/Slovenia with Dubtafari sound (SLO) to open Earl 16, to Eurockéenes de Belfort (FR) with Earl 16 again, to Montreux Jazz Festival at the Miles Davis Club with Cali P, to Tolmin/Slovenia in Soca Reggae RiverSplash Festival and more... Recently, the tune "Give Thanks and Praise" has been record for the swiss label Kinyama. More news to come....
