About Me

The Velvet Lounge is a bit different from most bars on L.I. Not to say that we are the best, or are above anyone or any other bar. However, we pride ourselves on trying to create a unique and comfortable environment to all that visit us. Its a cozy room,(not too big), but there are plenty of velvet couches to fall into and feel at home. The large enclosed (no ceiling) outdoor patio connected to the bar makes up for the smaller bar space. Plenty of seating, outdoor Tiki Bar and Bar-b-Q during warm summer weather provides all you need to have a beach/backyard get together with friends experience. In the cold winter season, the multiple outdoor wood burning fireplaces are just right to set the mood and keep ya toasty while you chat with friends and enjoy the crisp air.
