Date: 25th June 1988 Birthplace: Germany in a smal town called Saar Brucken. Born Yannik Benjamin Seabrook to an English mother by the name of Tamara and an Italian Father, Emilo . By the age of 3 after living in Geramany and Italy he moved to the north east of England where he would live for most of his life with his mother and younger sister in a small town called REDCAR. Yannik Moved to the City of LEEDS 2004 where he still lives.
Yannik has always been interesting in Poetry and Music and was a published Poet at an early age. At the age of 16 his Love for Hip Hop Music and writing rhymes turned into writing songs. It started when a DJ and Best friend of his Danny Ginn would freestyle with him untill they finally put together a tape with there songs on. Wayne Allen aka Krazy Wayne the third of the '3Dogs' trio would also be involved untill over time the only one left still dedicating himself to writing rap music was Yannik. Now known as YANBOI. Danny Ginn has persued a so far extremely succesful DJ career especcialy considering his age. YANBOI first production was an experimental between Hard Dance and Rap with DJ Danny Ginn and the well known DJ GRH and Chriss Hoff who was introduced following Daniels Radio 1 Young DJ of the year competition. Freakstyle the track made was signed to tidy digital and GRH recordings and over Dance/Rap tracks and remixes have been produced and successfully distributed since. There are many more to come. YANBOI is now 18 and is an independent artist who is dedicated and passionate about his music going from strength to strength, he donsn't intend to stop soon... or EVER!!
The first thing you need to know about me, YANBOI is I do not just Rap because its fun. Morals and principles and many values and beliefs are driving me to produce music. YANBOI is NOT one of these artists who are in it just for the money, although these artists that are will soon realize its not what they truly want, YANBOI has realized this a long time ago. I need to sell my music to be able to afford to keep producing it. I make music for the benefits of others and I have many aims in helping our World and the people in it as much as I can in my life time. I need to be able to support my family when now ive grown up and even more so when I am older. Courage, talent, passion, will power and any other gift I am blessed with unfortunately isnâ€™t going to get me heard and my messages spread far enough to make a difference, thatâ€™s why I need to take this Game by storm. Iâ€™m not on becoming rich quick, becoming a start tomorrow, I am here to live and enjoy the journey, not just get to the destination. Thatâ€™s the advice anyone reading this should take. I am truly gunna keep it real all my life because itâ€™s the only way I know how. I am extremely grateful for any support I get and trust me I am here to support any one else who is willing to go for what they really want in life.
I recorded my first track at end of 2006 and I'm going to make sure I update my sight with songs frequently. I will also have my own Website in the near future. I am using Myspace to help build up the awareness of me as an artist. So everyone who likes my music, please support me by downloading my music and passing me around or buying my CD's or even just telling me to keep it going know what im saying. I work with Kevlargh and Jason on beats production at the moment and will be working with many DJ's to produce big Dance tracks aswell as recording many Hip Hop Callaborations with Quality rappers. In the next year I am certainly going to be heard alot more and will be looking to get Live Performences under my belt aswell as release an Album for you people who keep asking ;-). I intend to have my own studio and be my own Producer in the upcomming years aswell as own my own Record Label. In the mean time I'm completeing my A Levels at Park Lane college Leeds in English,Media studies and History. I will be making tracks at HD1 Studio, Huddersfield or any equipt studio for that matter.

Hip Hop is a langauge and just because there are many forms does not mean they all are not saying the same thing and expressing the same meanings.

Influences: The word Influences, I am going to change to Inspirations.
Simply because I only take Influence from myself and am Inspired by many things in life.
My ambitions influence me. Ambitions of others fullfilled or unfullfilled inspire me.

After narrowing down my Inspirations to just some of my most inspirational Rap artists, I realised it just can't be done.
There's too many! The list is endless and thats without including all Genres of Music.
I mean I've actually been inspired by Music from all over the world and from many different eras. From Buddy Holly to Eros ramazotti to Tupac Shakur.
Even Bad Music if there is such a thing can inspire me.

More importantly, I am not only inspired by Music. Many things inspire me, motivate me or just make me want to think that little bit harder than the average thought.
On a good day Nature and it's beauty will give me all the inspiration I need. On a bad day I aim to inspire myself through my strength and unlimited courage.
Other times it comes from where ever it comes from.
The Universe and everything in it, especially planet Earth is full of inspirations.

What influences me to write a song or some lyrics can be emotional, psychological, phsyical, or/and mainly spiritual.
Bad things, Good things, Negativity, Positivity, It's all the same when it comes down to my Music or Poetry.
Aslong as I feel It needs to be laid down as my next stepping stone in my long journey I will create it.
My journey is full of many goals I wish to accomplish and writing music or poetry helps me see where im going wrong and where im going right in this journey.

I am influenced to do my music along with live the way I live through the knowledge that we are all here for some special reason.
We all should be doing something we are passionate for and be doing at least one thing to make a positive difference in this world.
I believe Nothing is too much or too little aslong as I am giving selflessly and trying to do something right.

My Music is one way I am using my potential.
When we use our potential in anyway our mind body and soul grows stronger helping us see we have more than we first thought.
Its like when you reach the Horizon, another one is in sight.

For those reading this who aim to use there individual potential that every individual is blessed with, then you must already know you have been inspired by something or someone, some where down the line.

For those who can't see there individual potential, you are either lacking in faith or courage or you just aren't spending enough time embracing it. It is there to be used and will be there untill you do.

Inspiration is to want to inspire.
We all have the ability to inspire so stop being a prisoner of your past and become the architect of your future.

As the saying goes... You CAN Do Anything When You Put Your Mind To It.
