I believe Music speaks what cannot be expressed, soothes the mind and gives it rest, heals the heart and makes it whole, flows from heaven to the soul.I, Dj Essence ( a.k.a Keabetswe Moumakwe) have been in close and ever happy relationship with music since my early childhood.Without music life would be a mistake.Nothing separates the generations more than music. By the time I was 16, I have developed a passion for my own music that is even stronger than my passions for procrastination and weird clothes.I grew up listening to mainstream house music in the dusty streets of Moiletsoane village, on the outskits of Pretotia, which was soon to change.At the age of 23 when I started Djing and DeEARSOUL RECORDS was established, I got my fisrt gig playing for 100's of musically hungry patrons at WhoZoo playing along side South Africa's top Dj's.As a dj who wanted substance value out of his sets I was "REBORN", I got introduced to Soulful House. Music that deals with matters of the heart. My true creativity quite simply started with balancing of my emotions and activating the power of my heart. At the turning point of my career I hooked up with the ELECTRIFYING ONE dj gillespie ( HOLLA BACK SELECTOR), who help me take my career to yet another level. PLaying at snazzy clubs in Jozi, ( Keys on the Avenue, The Palms, Skandal etc.)As a young energetic lad with a creative mind, not scared to mix different genre tunes into his deep and soulful house set, which is why my sets can be described as dynamic I also played for a distinctive party people in East London and in Polokwane.As a Dj who knows just how tough the entertainment industry is, I've given Duzy the host of the UNDERGROUND SCENE ( a dance show on Metro Fm, Fridays and Saturday 22:00 - 01:00) a helping hand to source out talented djs to come show case their djing skills on his show. On the other hand DeEarSoul, which has increased the in flow of super house tunes in South Africa.Tune to MotswedingFm 91.00 every Mondays, Wednesday and Friday to hear me play an unctuous set from 17:30 to 17:50, on the ever MERRY BEAMING CHRIS MATSHABA's afternoon show which airs every week days 15:00 to 18:00.KEEP IN MIND: It's easy to play any musical instrument: all you have to do is touch the right key at the right time and the instrument will play itself.
