DJ MISS MATCH

Miss Match is without a doubt the freshest & hottest female talent to come out of Australia this decade.
In a male dominated industry she has defied the odds of being pushed off the decks by the boyz, and can definitely hold her own with a talent & flair like no other behind the decks.
Falling in love with house music years before she even picked up the headphones, it didn’t take long to make the transition. Self-taught, many hours of practise and dodgy gigs later - she is one of the most sought after female DJ’s in Sydney in only 3 short years.
Miss Match holds residency at Mars Lounge, Bungalow 8, The Penguin Cruises, and is a regular at such clubs as The Argyle, SPICE, Le Panic, Hi-Flyers Cruises, ArtHouse. She has also just acquired residency at Billboard The Venue in Melbourne. With Brisbane and Perth already on the cards for 2008 it won't be long before you are hearing Miss Match near you.
Just recently on her overseas trip July/August 2007, she has played Tropicana, Paradise Club and Paradise Lounge in Mykanos taking her to international DJ status after only 3 years on the circuit. This last trip has led to her being offered a summer residency in 2008 in Mykanos allowing Miss Match to be based in Europe and spread her wings even further.

Am more than happy to admit I was THE biggest Michael Jackson fan. I studied every album, dance move, outfit, lyrics, notes and music composition for years and years. Learning from the biggest entertainer in the world has taught me to aim for the top and to work hard to become the best...”
Even before the turntables were purchased, Miss Match had traveled the world with various DJ’s such as Jeremy Healy, Carl Cox, Eric Powell, Mistress Barbara, and DJ Heaven and got the opportunity to watch, learn and listen to some of the very best in the industry.
Miss Match has started this year producing her own music, her first track being made with The Cut, Bliss n Eso & vocalist Georgia McDonnell. Miss Match's electro house track - Tarantism will soon be heard in clubs by all....for now, you just have to wait...
Something that also must be mentioned is her inspiration - the man who really opened her eyes to whom she owes her direction and strength to and getting dirty on the decks - DJ Mitch James.
