in the year 2001 two bored and drunk german smalltown teenagers decided to buy
some cheap guitars and to make punkrock. 2001 david and alex met the rest of
the *HWS* crew: a strange little guy named hoos, who´s parents bought him a
drumset a few years ago and a crazy punkrocker named basti bastardo as
the singer. a few rehearsals later, the kids played their first show.
as the years past the boys slowly started to see things clear and they noticed
that alot of shit is gonig on in this world. every day people are
killed just because of money or oil. rightwing motherf...ers are rising and are
fighting innocent people. human beings are beaten up just because their colour
or their religion.
the world is governed by a..holes.
get ready to fight! fight for your freedom for friendship an for your rights as
a human being no matter where you´re from!
the boys grew older, because of that the songs became more serious. the sound developed into "RIOT`N
ROLL" punkrock. riot´n roll stands for the mix of old school streetpunk and rock´n roll with modern punk sounds and current political or sociocritical subjects. we don´t want to forget the roots of punkrock but we also have to look on that shit going on in the prestent we have to fight for a better future- that´s riot´n roll!
in the year 2004 david left the band an derry dalton became the new *HWS* bass player.
in the past 5 years we played more than 100 shows mainly in germany but also in romania,
switzerland, austria and slovakia.
we´ve supported bands like the briefs, the streetdogs, beatsteaks, rawside, frontkick, terrorgruppe, wohlstandskinder, dödelhaie, she maletrouble, kafkas, skin of tears, steakknife, tagtraum, electric frankenstein, aurora, the bottrops, heideroosjes and many more...
in august the band is gonig to record their new album. till then they are going to play less live shows unfortunately but the time will be used to write new songs and to upgrade some older ones. when and where the album will be released isn´t sure jet. all news will be announced on myspace or on www.hws-punkrock.com...
